Gift Funds

Some of Beacon Point's loan products permit a relative to gift you money in order to fund the down payment requirement of your transaction.  Each program has its own gift rules. In general the acceptance of a gift to fund your transaction is permissible if the gift is coming from a family member or close friend. Gifts from business partners or an offshore benefactor are strictly prohibited. In most instances, the donation must be liquid and received prior to the closing.  See the below guidelines for details.
